What is individual executive coaching?Coaching involves bringing about profound changes in thinking and behaviour. The coaching relationship is of utmost importance as it can focus on the things which are currently getting in your employee's way, preventing them from working towards their full potential. In partnership with a coach the greatest challenges are assessed and then the coaching process work towards setting new goals and identifying the necessary actions which flow from them. Who uses Executive Coaching for Inidviduals?Typically our clients are challenged at work by peer relationships, adapting to change, perhaps newly appointed to a leadership role, prioritizing and managing workload, reluctance to have difficult conversations or difficulty with negotiating and delegating. How does the coaching process work?A Polaris Executive Coaching package would consist of an initial briefing session with the referring person and then an initial session with the client followed by a self assessment process. This would be followed by a negotiated number of individual coaching sessions (usually 5) spread over a number of months. The spacing and location of sessions is always negotiated to best serve the client's needs.
